Epigram:
THIS is my letter to the world, That never wrote to me,—
The simple news that Nature told,
With tender majesty.
The simple news that Nature told,
With tender majesty.
Her message is committed
To hands I cannot see;
For love of her, sweet countrymen,
Judge tenderly of me!
To hands I cannot see;
For love of her, sweet countrymen,
Judge tenderly of me!

Again a sweet short poem from Emily Dickinson, classified under the "Life" group.
Sweet, innocent, and simple.Happy also.
What is the meaning of this? Frankly, I do not know in whole. Maybe will take some more time to comprehend. Or maybe never!
But let me try:

But let me try:
I'm writing this poem, to people who do not know me - and have never conversed with me. And what am I writing about? Little, simple, delicate things that Mother Nature tells with "tender majesty". Dignified whispers which is her method of talking. (I'm almost out in the Amherst fields and can feel the Sun and wind. :) )
Her message of (love? or life?) is carried in invisible hands. It is all around us - to feel, to hear, to heed.
And for love of Nature (or God) - please judge Emily tenderly! Undoubtedly, she pleads - as a little girl. As a sensitive person. (I can see her smiling :) ) to be judged i.e. to not think of her harshly. Treat her with love, respect, dignity.
